Tonight's Carolina sky....

The Bell Tower of Uspensky Cathedral in Rostov the Great (Yaroslavl region, Russia).
The bell "Sysoy" (was made in 1682). Diametr - 363 cm (12 feet). Weight - 32 tons (70,548 lbs).
Under the bell - my wife Galina.

Those are some wonderful pictures BiR! Your lovely wife seems a little nervous under the bell. I would be afraid it would fall too.

Hero???? Well I am sure this idiot has been called many things but never a hero. Yes there are artillery ranges all over on military land with many unexploded shells.

Have you ever run across a picture of yourself that you have no idea who took it nor what the heck you could have possibly been doing to have struck such a pose? I remember this party and remember having my camera, but I don't remember someone else using my camera. Only thing I can figure is I was trying to get at the residue left from the party favors. lol
